Senior Project Manager – EV Charging

About the company
Our client is a fast-growing UK electric vehicle charging network, delivering rapid and ultra-rapid charging infrastructure powered by 100% renewable energy. With sites across retail parks, shopping centres and high-footfall destinations nationwide.
The role
You’ll take ownership of multiple EV charging projects simultaneously, managing end-to-end delivery of new charging sites from early stage through to energisation. Working closely with the senior leadership team, you’ll be the driving force behind the on-time, on-budget rollout of the network as it scales nationally.
What you’ll do
- Manage multiple EV charging installation projects concurrently across different sites and regions
- Oversee ICP processes and manage relationships with ICPs throughout project delivery
- Coordinate with DNOs, landowners, contractors and internal stakeholders to keep projects on track
- Monitor programme, budget and risk across the project portfolio, escalating issues where needed
- Drive site-level delivery from grid connection application through to commissioning and handover
- Ensure quality and compliance standards are met across all sites
- Report progress to senior leadership on a regular basis
What we’re looking for
- Proven experience as a project manager within EV charging
- Solid understanding of ICP processes and grid connection applications
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously across different sites and networks
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving scale-up environment where priorities can shift
- Strong stakeholder management skills across contractors, DNOs and internal teams
- Minimum 2 days per week in London
