Teaching Assistant (1:1 Support)
Full Time | From £95 per day | Start Date: After Easter
Are you committed to making a meaningful difference in the life of a child who needs consistent, tailored support? A welcoming primary school in Doncaster is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to work on a 1:1 basis with a pupil who requires a calm, structured and understanding approach throughout the school day.
Key Requirements
- Strong behaviour management skills
- Good understanding of Autism and ADHD
- A resilient, calm and proactive attitude
- Empathetic and patient nature
- Ability to build trust and form positive relationships
- Passion for helping children overcome barriers to learning
Role Responsibilities
- Providing dedicated 1:1 support across the school day
- Assisting with emotional regulation, engagement and classroom routines
- Supporting learning activities and encouraging positive behaviour
- Working collaboratively with teachers, the SENCO and wider staff team
- Contributing to a safe, structured and nurturing learning environment
