Senior Solution Architect
Marshall Wolfe are hiring on behalf of our client for an experienced Solution Architect. This is an exciting opportunity to join a major transformation programme replacing a complex on-premise with a modern SaaS-driven landscape. You will lead solution architecture across key business domains; Finance, Risk, HR and wider business functions – ensuring robust design, seamless integration and alignment with strategic technology goals.
This will be a 18 month FTC, based in London (hybrid)
Key Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end solutions aligned with modern engineering practices and automated delivery tooling.
- Define workload placement strategies that optimise cloud capabilities—elasticity, serverless, containerisation.
- Apply secure-by-design principles including defence-in-depth and blast-radius reduction.
- Conduct architectural impact assessments covering risk, capacity, performance, and cost.
- Produce governance-ready artefacts for architecture, privacy, security and records management.
- Support operational teams with fault-finding and performance issue diagnosis.
- Promote standardised patterns and influence future technology evolution where needed.
- Guide stakeholders, shape strategy and contribute to cross-functional decision-making.
What You’ll Bring
- Senior-level experience designing SaaS-centric architectures integrating multiple business applications.
- Background in at least one of: Risk, Finance, HR, Legal, Compliance, Procurement or similar corporate functions. xwzovoh
- Proven experience onboarding SaaS vendors and deploying SaaS platforms within financial services or fintech.
