Your new company Hays Accountancy & Finance are seeking a Finance Manager for our client, a global leader in sustainable solutions. In this role, you will oversee financial and operational performance reporting, manage daily accounting processes, and lead a dedicated finance team. This is a fixed-term position until February 2027, offering an immediate start. Your new role Lead and support the Finance Team, including Accounts Payable, Receivable, and operational accounting. Complete month-end processes (closing ledgers, posting journals, reviewing accruals and prepayments). Manage payroll, pensions, VAT returns etc. Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations and management accounts. Maintain the fixed asset register and oversee expenses and credit card reconciliations. Handle bank payments and foreign currency requirements. Ensure compliance with statutory payments and audits (internal, external, HMRC). Assist with annual budgeting and provide financial data for reporting. What you’ll need to succeed Degree in Finance or Accounting (minimum 2:1). Professional qualification (CIMA, ACA, or equivalent) with 3+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment. High level of computer literacy and good knowledge of UK & International accounting standards.
