Quality Inspector
A manufacturing business supplying high-precision components to the semiconductor sector is seeking a Quality Inspector to carry out detailed inspections and ensure all products meet strict engineering and quality standards prior to shipment.The position involves working with CMM equipment and a range of calibrated mechanical measuring tools to verify the accuracy and conformity of machined parts within a production environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform final inspection and quality checks on manufactured components
- Inspect incoming materials and in-process parts against engineering drawings and specifications
- Use CMM systems and manual measuring tools such as vernier callipers, height gauges and Go/No-Go gauges
- Conduct visual and dimensional inspections to confirm product quality
- Record inspection results and maintain quality documentation and reports
- Identify non-conforming items and route them for rework when necessary
- Escalate quality issues or anomalies to the relevant quality lead
- Support clean-room packing and component xwzovoh cleaning when required
- Follow all health & safety and quality procedure
