Are you a driven andstrategic leader with a passion for digital media and salesperformance?

Newsquest Media Group/ LOCALiQ is seeking a dynamic  SalesManager to lead a team of Digital AdvertisingConsultants, driving revenue growth and delivering innovativemultimedia solutions to clients across yourregion.

Asa  Sales Manager , you will play apivotal role in leading, coaching, and developing a high‑performingdigital sales team across a defined territory or category. You willbe responsible for embedding a coaching culture, spending atleast 50% of your time working directly withyour team in the field or virtually, supportingtheir development and drivingperformance. 

Abackground in media advertising is preferred, though strong salesleaders from other industries will also be considered. You willoversee both new business activity and key account growth, ensuringoperational excellence, high-quality customer outcomes, and strongrevenue performance across digital and multimedia solutions. Atleast 1-2 days of travel into the Warrington office is essential tothis role.

You willcollaborate closely with the Sales Director to support strategicdigital revenue initiatives, while leading day‑to‑day salesoperations with precision, positivity, and commercialfocus.

KeyResponsibilities

  • Lead, coach, andmotivate a team of Digital Advertising Consultants to achieverevenue targets and activity goals.
  • Driveperformance through SMART objectives, KPI-led coaching, andstructured development plans.
  • Grow revenueacross a portfolio of existing key accounts while identifying andsecuring new business opportunities.
  • Supportyour team in building creative, multimedia-led marketing proposalsand identifying digital solutionopportunities.
  • Implement effective salestactics, ensuring activity levels and strategies are optimised todeliver results.
  • Maintain strong operationaloversight, managing pipelines, forecasting, and CRM hygiene to thehighest standard.
  • Work collaboratively withsenior leadership to support wider digital transformation andrevenue strategies.
  • Spend significant timesupporting your team in the field (minimum 50%), observing,coaching, and evaluatingperformance.

Skills,Knowledge &Expertise

  • CommercialAcumen: Strong understanding of sales KPIs,revenue drivers, and local business economics. Ability to convertcommercial insights into practical salesstrategies.
  • Data & InsightAnalysis: Confident in interpreting performancedata, spotting trends, and identifying opportunities or gaps.Ability to set and track clear, data‑drivengoals.
  • Tactical Development &Drive: Proven capability to design, implement,and measure sales tactics that elevate team performance. Skilled inadjusting messaging, activity, andtargeting.
  • DigitalKnowledge: Strong grasp of LOCALiQ digitalsolutions and a broad understanding of the digital marketinglandscape, including SEO, PPC, display advertising, and paidsocial.
  • CoachingCulture: Demonstrated success motivating,developing, and upskilling sales teams both in‑person and remotely.Able to embed a coaching culture that grows capability andconfidence.
  • Digital SalesExpertise: Experience selling or coachinghigh‑value digital advertising solutions, such as digital display,paid social, and multimediapackages.
  • Key AccountDevelopment: Ability to nurture clientrelationships, grow customer spend, and drive maturity in digitalsolution adoption.
  • CRM &Process Excellence: High proficiency with CRMplatforms and internal workflows, ensuring accuracy, strongforecasting, and processconsistency.
