To deliver an emergency service (24 hours 7 days per week) providing personal care and support to older people living in their own homes, in line with Department policies, procedures and standards SVQ 2 Health and Social Care at SCQF Level 6 and/or able to demonstrate equivalent knowledge, skills and competencies gained through relevant experience. If you do not hold the above qualification, you will be required to undertake a course of study to obtain an SVQ Level 2 qualification within the required timescale to meet the requirements of SSSC. If you are appointed and are not already a member of the relevant sections of the SSSC Register, you will be required to apply for registration as soon as possible and this must be achieved within six months of your start date.
