Electrical Contracts Manager (T&I)

Electrical Estimating Manager Derry MTM Engineering has an exciting new opportunity for an Electrical Estimating Manager to join our growing team based out of our Derry office. This is a hands-on leadership role with responsibility for managing the full estimating function, overseeing the production of Electrical tenders for both pre-designed and design & construct projects, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, competitive submissions while working within a professional team environment. Headquartered in Ireland, we deliver mission critical projects for a range of customers across Europe and beyond. Our expertise spans industry sectors such as data centres, pharmaceuticals, renewables, power generation, critical infrastructure, and more. Management of the estimating department, overseeing all new project enquiries from inception to submission. Reviewing drawings and preparing take-offs for LV/MV Cabling and Containment systems. Producing and reviewing bills of quantities, schedules of work and contractors proposal documents to support bids. Developing strong inter-departmental relationships, working closely with Contracts Managers, QSs and the Design/Engineering department. Supporting continuous improvement of estimating processes, systems and commercial governance. Strong commercial experience in an Estimator or Senior Estimator role, ideally with team-lead or supervisory experience. Self-motivated with the ability to ensure that project deadlines are achieved. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment managing multiple tenders simultaneously. Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and technical documentation. High attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy and commercial awareness. Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel.
