JOB TITLE: – Production Operator Reporting to: – Supervisor Hours of Work: – Availability currently on: Dayshift :Monday Thursday: 7am 3pm. Night Shift: Sunday Night 2300hrs – 0700 Monday, 2300hrs – 0700hrs Monday to Thursday, Finish 0530 Friday Outline of job: – The Production Operator will be responsible for performing production process to ensure the quality, delivery and cost requirements of the business are achieved. The role will involve producing composite parts for paint operations and assembly operations. Utilising provided materials to prepare composite parts prior to painting. Strictly following Quality standards as outlined in Manufacturing Process Specifications. Maintaining a presentable and standardised workstation in line with company housekeeping standards. Assembly operations to prepare products for packaging Packaging finished goods. it gives a general outline of the Production Operator position. Liaise with quality engineers to ensure that quality requirements are fully complied with. Ensure that good housekeeping, health and safety and working standards are observed in and around the work area. You may be required to transfer your skills to others Desirable1 years relevant experience in manufacturing, knowledge of fibreglass or vehicle body repairs, EssentialFluent and able to read /understand English, Good understanding of Maths, Ability to understand and follow instructions, Great hand / eye coordination. Candidates will be subject to a Medical Assessment, a Criminal Records Check and must have the ability to work in the UK for the duration of the contract.
