Our client are a well established UK commercial building services organisation, who have created a new role for a Hard Services Facilities and Energy Manager. This role will suit an individual with a strong understanding of building services maintenance (electrical, air conditioning, chillers), that can maintain and strengthen an existing client relationship within a corporate environment.

Taking responsibility for line management of a small team of building services maintenance engineers, you will be the clients primary point of contact for all works and projects carried out by your team. Either technically qualified yourself, or with strong technical knowledge, you will be responsible for the essential pre planned and reactive maintenance carried out by your team across the site, such as on lighting, emergency lighting, fire alarms, air conditioning and chiller systems). Also a key part of this role is someone either with a proven track record, or a desire to take a lead role in the capturing, recording and monitoring of energy data for the site. Working with the client on innovative solutions that are both cost saving and energy saving. You will liaise with contractors providing proposals for ways to significantly reduce the energy waste and usage on site.

Ideally, you will have a background in Hard Services Facilities Management, from a service provider prospective. Strong health and safety credentials (backed up by either a NEBOSH or IOSH qualification). Being commercially savvy, you will be responsible for the financial management of your team, and be an excellent people manager. xwzovoh Finally, you will be someone that builds strong client relationships.

On offer is a permanent position, paying a basic salary of between £35 – £40,000 per annum, plus a car allowance of £5,100.
