  • Supportchildrentoreachtheirfullpotential.
  • SupporttheHomeManagerinday-to-daymanagementandoperationoftheHome-Maintainingacompliant,safeandhomelyenvironment.
  • Workinachildcentredwaytoensureeachchildsindividualneedsaremet.
  • GoodKnowledgeoftheChildrensHomesregulationsandqualitystandards.
  • Actasarolemodelandmentortostaff,demonstratingprofessionalism,integrity,andacommitmenttothehigheststandardsofcareandethicalpractice.
  • Contributetotherecruitment,training,anddevelopmentofstaff,identifyingtrainingneedsandopportunitiesforprofessionalgrowth.
  • Experienceofcompilingastaffrota.
  • UndertakemonthlystaffsupervisionsandTeamMeetings.
  • Provideleadership,guidanceandsupporttotheStaffTeam.
  • Expectedtoworkacrossafullrotaincludingsleep-insandlongdays,alongsidemanagerhours.

OurIdealCandidateshould:

  • HoldaLevel3inChildrensResidentialChildcareQualification(orequivalent).
  • EitherholdorbecommittedtocompletingtheirLevel5diplomainLeadershipandManagement.
  • Haveaminimumtwoyears’experienceworkinginsocialcare.
  • Adeptincompilingriskassessments,weeklyandmonthlyreportsforboththehomeandtheyoungpeople&Children.
  • KnowledgeoflegislationandOfstedrequirements.
  • Passionateinworkingwithyoungpeoplewhomaydemonstratebehavioursthatchallenge.
  • Knowledgeofchildrenshomeregulationsandqualitystandards.
  • Haveexperienceleadingandmotivatingastaffteam.
  • Beflexibleandwillingtogotheextramile.
