Children’s Home Manager – Derby

£50,269 – £53,460 | Full-time | Permanent

Are you an experienced Registered Manager or Deputy Manager passionate about supporting children and young people with Autism and Learning Disabilities?

We’re working with a reputable organisation in Derby looking for a Children’s Home Manager to lead a warm, nurturing residential home supporting up to five children aged 5-18.

What you’ll be doing

Leading the day-to-day running of the children’s home

Acting as the Ofsted Registered Manager, ensuring compliance with Children’s Homes

Regulations and Quality Standards

Creating a safe, child-centred environment that promotes positive outcomes

Leading, supervising, and developing a dedicated staff team

Overseeing care planning, education support, health needs, and safeguarding

Building strong relationships with families, social workers, and professionals

Managing staffing, resources, and operational performance

What we’re looking for

Experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager in children’s residential care

Strong knowledge of Ofsted frameworks and Children’s Homes Regulations 2015

Excellent leadership, safeguarding, and decision-making skills

Full UK driving licence

Desirable

Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Children and Young People (or working towards)
