Please double check you have the right level of experience and qualifications by reading the full overview of this opportunity below.Location: Fradley, StaffordshireSalary: up to £36k depending on experienceWorking Hours: 40-hour week (with flexibility required as part of a growing and evolving business)We are a specialist, highly regulated production business focused on delivering consistently high-quality products within a controlled environment.Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit a knowledgeable and detail-focused Quality Assurance Officer to join our expanding Quality team.About the RoleThis is a key role within a highly regulated environment, supporting the maintenance and development of the Companys Quality Management System (QMS) and ensuring ongoing compliance with industry standards.Working closely with the QA Manager and wider team, you will contribute to validation, compliance and continuous improvement activities across the business.The role primarily involves:Supporting the maintenance and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS)Drafting and reviewing procedures and quality documentationSupporting deviation investigations, CAPA and change control processesReviewing and approving batch manufacturing recordsAssisting with internal audits and self-inspectionsSupporting preparation for external inspections and regulatory auditsContributing to validation and qualification activities (IQ, OQ, PQ)Providing quality input across manufacturing and business operationsSupporting the maintenance of quality certifications and compliance standardsWhat This Role RequiresThis role is suited to individuals who are highly organised, analytical and comfortable working within a structured, compliance-driven environment.You will need to demonstrate:Strong attention to detail and a methodical approachA solid understanding of quality assurance within regulated environmentsThe ability to interpret and apply regulatory requirementsStrong written and verbal communication skillsA proactive, self-motivated approach to workThe ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesExperienceWe are particularly interested in candidates with:A degree in a relevant life science subject (e.g. Biology, Chemistry, Pharmacy)Experience working within a GMP-regulated environmentExposure to pharmaceutical or API manufacturing environmentsExperience supporting validation and qualification activitiesExperience working with quality systems, documentation and compliance processesExperience with analytical techniques or advanced validation work would be beneficial but is not essential.Additional RequirementsGood level of spoken and written EnglishComfortable working within a highly regulated environmentStrong IT skills and confidence working with quality and data systemsWillingness to support occasional travel and out-of-hours activity if requiredFuture OpportunitiesAs the business continues to grow over the next 1224 months, there will be opportunities to develop within the quality and compliance function, with increasing responsibility and scope. xwzovoh Important InformationThis role requires a high level of accuracy and attention to detailCandidates must be comfortable working within a structured and controlled environmentPre-employment checks, including criminal record checks, will be carried outIf you are a motivated quality professional looking to develop your career within a regulated and growing environment, we would like to hear from you.Apply directly through this job advert to our HR Consultants, ideally with a covering letter stating your salary requirements and why you believe you should be considered for this role.Deadline: 30 th April 2026 Applications will be reviewed as they come in….
