Nurse / Trainee Scrub Nurse- Chester – North-West to 42,000
My client who is one of the UK’s leading providers of NHS ophthalmology services in England, providing outpatients appointments, diagnostic testing, and eye surgery are recruiting for either an experienced Scrub Nurse or a nurse looking to take the next step into theatres and be fully trained!!
As a Nurse/Trainee Scrub Nurse your responsibilities are to provide up to date proficient Scrub skills for high volume cataract surgery with the ability to set up for vitrectomy surgery, have full understanding of Phaco Machines/Instrumentation and set up, knowledge of the eye and understanding of Biometry/Lens bank/Implants and the ability to support the surgeon anticipating any potential problems.
Ideally you will have experience and knowledge of Theatre training, current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council essential and Nursing degree, hospital eye service experience is also desirable as is knowledge of clinical practice and demonstrable knowledge of developments in Optometry required
