RATE: up to 21.00 ph weekdays (umbrella)TYPE: LOCUMHOURS: This is a Full time role (Flexibility to work across a 24/7 rota, including nights for 37 hours a week)
This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of an organisation supporting individuals with mental health needs, substance use, and related challenges. The service provides 24-hour, person-centred support within a residential setting, helping individuals build the skills and confidence needed to move towards independent living.
About the role:
You will play a key part in supporting residents to achieve their personal goals, improve their wellbeing, and develop essential life skills such as budgeting, tenancy management, and community engagement. You will also contribute to the safe and effective day-to-day running of the service.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting individuals with their mental and physical wellbeing
- Delivering person-centred support and keyworking sessions
- Promoting independence and life skills development
- Maintaining accurate records and contributing to care plans
- Liaising with external agencies and professionals
- Ensuring a safe, respectful, and compliant service environment
You must have strong communication and interpersonal skills, a compassionate and person-centred approach, the ability to work both independently and as part of a team and good organisational and IT skills
