Security Officer

Overview

As a security officer you will be responsible for the access and egress of staff, contractors and visitors. You will be responsible for showing a visible security presence on site by patrolling and covering A&E. You will respond and assist with aggressive patients/members of the public.

Mitie Security is looking for a security officer to take on the exciting responsibility of working with our partner within the defence sector. Qualifications

• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Strong IT skills, with knowledge of the base MS Office Suite
• Good report writing skills
• Ability to de-escalate and manage conflict
• Be flexible and adaptable to a changing workplace
• Ability to obtain (with help) SC Clearance
• Knowledge on the mental health act (preferred but not essential)
