Project Support Officer – SEND Transformation Programme
Full-time and Part-time Available | £268 PD Umbrella
Hybrid working | 1-2 days per week in the office (Slough)
We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Project Support Officer to join our ambitious SEND Transformation Programme. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in delivering meaningful improvements for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities.
You’ll be supporting a high-impact programme, helping ensure projects run smoothly, stakeholders stay engaged, and data drives better decision-making.
The Role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining and updating project documentation
- Tracking actions, risks, and milestones
- Coordinating workshops and stakeholder events
- Taking accurate minutes and following up on key actions
- Supporting reporting and communication across teams
- Managing your workload independently and proactively
What We’re Looking For
- Experience supporting projects or programmes (PMO, coordination, or admin support)
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and use initiative
- Experience working with stakeholders across teams
- Strong data skills – able to analyse, interpret, and present data clearly
- Proficiency in Excel and other relevant tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Desirable
- Experience within a SEND, education, or local authority environment
