Overview

Having had a complete asset review, as well as introducing a new CAFM system, the University has created the role of BIM & Asset Manager to lead this exciting period of change. Reporting to the Head of Operations, the BIM & Asset Manager will act as the Estates Directorate’s internal BIM Asset lead, liaising with internal and external stakeholders, as well as advising on the University’s estates asset naming conventions, validating asset registers, overseeing the import of bespoke Asset Registers into core asset management systems. The BIM & Asset Manager will also be a member of the Long-Term Maintenance board, supporting the Assistant Director of Estates, Head of Operations & Engineering and Authorising Engineers in the effective direction, leadership, and delivery of all aspects of Estates asset management.

Qualifications / Requirements

It is essential that applicants have: A degree in Engineering / Technical Subject (or an equivalent professional qualification). A relevant Health and Safety qualification e.g., NEBOSH General Certificate. Experience of CAFM systems. Experience of Asset Management data within a complex and mixed property portfolio.
