Mechanical Project Manager

About the Role:We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to oversee a prestigious residential apartment development in Cambridge with a project value of around £7 million. This is a key role within a growing M&E contractor known for delivering high-quality residential and mixed-use schemes across the South East.

Key Responsibilities:

1. End-to-end management of mechanical installation works, including heating, cooling, and ventilation systems
2. Oversee QA processes and ensure all installations meet project specifications and industry standards
3. Coordinate closely with design teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure timely and efficient delivery
4. Manage budgets, schedules, and resource allocation across the mechanical scope
5. Ensure H&S compliance and maintain accurate project documentation

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Mechanical PM on residential projects
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and mechanical installation best practices
• Ability to manage QA processes and drive quality assurance on-site
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Experience managing projects of similar scale (£5m–£10m) preferred
