Job Role of the Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Responsibilities
You will be responsible for carrying out electrical and mechanical maintenance, fault-finding and planned preventative maintenance across a range of production machinery, ensuring maximum uptime and efficiency.
Requirements
- Non-Negotiable — Maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing environment
- Non-Negotiable — Experience with planned, reactive and breakdown maintenance in a fast-paced factory
- Strong electrical fault-finding skills
- Mechanical understanding (motors, bearings, belts, etc.)
- Recognised electrical engineering qualification
Desirable
- Experience working as a Maintenance Engineer in the UK
- Exposure to both electrical and mechanical maintenance
Open to Candidates
This role is ideal for electrically biased engineers with strong mechanical experience.
We will also consider mechanically biased engineers who have good electrical appreciation and are confident to pass an electrical competency test.
