Senior Project Quantity Surveyor – Industrial Project (£35M Amazon Build)
Northampton | £70,000 + Package | Project Start: Mid-November 2025
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Quantity Surveyor to take full commercial responsibility for a £35M industrial project in Northampton — a flagship Amazon development set to break ground in mid-November 2025.
This is a project-based role suited for a highly competent, self-sufficient QS who can run a large-scale industrial scheme independently from pre-construction through to final account.
Role Overview
As the Senior Project QS, you will:
- Take full commercial ownership of the project on-site
- Oversee procurement, contract administration, and cost management
- Report directly to the Commercial Director or Senior Leadership team
- Work closely with site teams, subcontractors, and the client
- Manage valuations, variations, and monthly CVRs
- Ensure financial targets and deadlines are achieved
Requirements
- Proven track record delivering industrial or logistics projects £30M+ in value
- Ability to operate as the standalone QS on a project
- Strong understanding of JCT contracts
- Excellent cost reporting and commercial acumen
- Ideally degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or similar
- Strong communication and negotiation skills

- Salary: £70,000 per annum
