Job Title: Sprinkler Service EngineerLocation: RAF MildenhallReports To: Service Department Manager We have an exciting opportunity for a Sprinkler Service Engineer to join our service department. This role will specifically support the service and maintenance works for RAF Mildenhall. Responsibilities This role would suit a Service Engineer, Multiskilled Engineer, Commercial Sprinkler Engineer, Sprinkler Service Maintenance Engineer. Must have experience in servicing all types of the following valve sets – Wet, dry, alternate, deluge and pre-Action.Must be able to carry out 5-point flow tests on sprinkler fire pumps and general service checks.Sprinkler Installation Level 2 qualified would be desirable but not essential.Plumbing / Piping Knowledge & fault finding on sprinkler systems – essential.Previous experience gained within Commercial / Industrial buildings environment.Experienced in small works install.Understanding and exposure to reporting electronically.Full driving licenceDBS checkFlexible approach to working hours and location, as will cover large area of the UKAbility to work unsupervised or in a teamProfessional, pleasant attitude and smart in appearance, capable of communicating diplomatically to strengthen customer relationships.Polite communication skills and ability to know when to escalate problemsIT literate as all jobs are booked on tabletsAbility to problem solve and use own initiative when on siteBe punctual and reliableProvide an excellent customer experience What you will receive from Argus Fire Competitive salaryLife InsuranceMobile Phone25 days holiday, plus bank holidaysArgus Fire branded clothing Our market-leading offering provides you with benefits that suit your lifestyle.
