Key Responsibilities
This is a full‑time, on‑site role located in East Grinstead for a Business Development Manager. The candidate will focus on identifying and securing new business opportunities, maintaining and expanding existing client relationships, and driving sales growth. Day‑to‑day tasks include generating leads, preparing proposals, negotiating contracts, and conducting client meetings or site visits. The Business Development Manager will work closely with the service and sales teams to ensure customer needs are met while adhering to the company’s high standards of quality and professionalism.
Skills and Qualifications
- Strong sales and business development skills, including lead generation, client relationship management, and contract negotiation.
- Knowledge of the gas, air conditioning, or building services industry, with experience in maintenance and installation services preferred.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills for effective client engagement and collaboration with internal teams.
- Capabilities in market research, strategic planning, and achieving sales targets.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a deadline‑driven environment.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
- Proficiency in using CRM platforms and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Business, Marketing, or a related field is highly desirable.
- Valid driving licence and willingness to travel for client meetings and site visits.
