About the role
This is an entry-level position within the Client Contact team. You will be part of a supportive team responsible for handling enquiries from potential and existing clients and making sure they are directed to the right people quickly and professionally.
You will be one of the first points of contact for the firm, helping to deliver a friendly, consistent, and high-quality service across phone, email, live chat, and online enquiries.
Full training and support will be provided.
What you will be doing:
- Answer and manage enquiries coming into the firm via telephone, email, website, and live chat
- Pass enquiries to the correct person or department, ensuring nothing is missed
- Take messages when needed and make sure they are passed on promptly
- Record enquiry details accurately on the firm’s CRM system
- Provide fee information for agreed work types, using clear guidance and support from the team
- Send enquiries to the appropriate department where a fee cannot be given
- Follow up enquiries to make sure clients receive timely responses
- Keep information up to date so the business can understand potential work and client needs
- Support client service initiatives and help maintain high standards of customer care
- Be alert to any early signs of dissatisfaction and follow the complaints process with support from senior colleagues
- Carry out general administrative tasks to support the team when required
Teamworking and development
- Work closely with colleagues across the Client Contact team and wider business
- Learn from experienced team members and take part in training and development
- Contribute positively to a supportive, collaborative team environment
- Follow firm policies, including confidentiality, data protection, and compliance requirements
What you will need:
This role is ideal for someone starting their career or looking to move into a professional office environment.
You should:
- Be keen to learn and open to training and feedback
- Enjoy working as part of a team
- Have good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Be organised, accurate, and comfortable using basic IT systems (such as email and Microsoft Office)
- Take pride in providing good customer service
No previous legal experience is required.
