At Wayfair, our Global Performance Management team doesn’t just “track” metrics – we build the narrative that dictates how millions of products move across the globe.

In this role, you’re the person who connects the dots. You’ll dig into our logistics data to find out exactly where we can move faster or smarter. Working closely with cross-functional partners, you‘ll turn those findings into real-world improvements. We’re looking for someone who is as comfortable with a complex dataset as they are explaining their recommendations to the stakeholders!

If you are passionate about making complicated data easy to understand and even easier to act on, we want to hear from you!

Your Impact

  • Find the “Why”: Dig into massive datasets to uncover performance trends and pinpoint exactly where we can improve our operations.
  • Measure Success: Build the metrics and reports that show how our initiatives are actually performing, helping the team spot root causes and pivot quickly.
  • Tell the Story: Turn raw KPIs into clear, persuasive narratives for senior leaders to help them make high‑stakes strategic decisions.
  • Bridge Tech & Ops: Partner with our Technology and Operations teams to help launch new initiatives and tech tools across the network.
  • Get Hands‑On with Partners: Work directly with our carriers to troubleshoot data issues and turn performance trends into better service for our customers.
  • Build Visual Tools: Create intuitive dashboards that make complex data easy for everyone to understand and act on.
  • Tackle the Unexpected: Jump into ad‑hoc analysis to solve new and emerging business challenges as they pop up.

What You Bring to the Team

  • Problem‑Solving Skills: You don’t just see numbers; you see the business decisions behind them and know how to translate complex data into a clear plan of action.
  • SQL Foundations: A minimum basic proficiency in SQL to pull and organize information from huge, terabyte‑scale datasets.
  • Effective Communication: Someone who can easily work with different teams, aligning everyone on the same goals and driving measurable results.
  • Steadiness Under Pressure: You thrive in a fast‑paced, agile environment and can stay focused on the priorities that matter most.
  • Technical Versatility: Confident navigating different IT systems and applications, including Excel and Google Sheets.
  • Bonus Points: If you know your way around Python or data viz tools like Tableau, Looker, or Power BI, that’s a big plus.
