£16.38ph
Grade 3 role
Up to £450 uniform allowance
This position is based on site in South Elmsall Pontefract, interviews will also take place in person.
Purpose
Working in the Optimisation team, the WF Resource Validation & Support Analyst is responsible for providing all senior stakeholders with regular and ad hoc reports, aimed mainly at improving cost across NDL.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports on key Health & Safety metrics
- Translate business requirements into clear, user-friendly reporting solutions
- Automate recurring reports to improve efficiency and consistency
- Analyse trends and patterns in safety data to identify risks, root causes, and improvement opportunities
- Provide actionable insights to H&S leaders and operational teams
- Work closely with the Health & Safety team to understand their needs and priorities.
- Act as a bridge between technical data teams and non-technical stakeholders.
- Present findings clearly to a range of audiences, including senior leadership.
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes
- Introduce best practices in data visualisation and storytelling
- Proactively monitor safety data to detect serious risks, anomalies, or deteriorating trends and elevate promptly to Health & Safety and operational leadership.

Experience/Knowledge/Skills
- Ability to plan and prioritise own workload, working to tight timescales
- Ability to critically analyse data and provide recommendations
- Technical skills and expertise working with datasets across different sources and formats
- Strong data visualisation skills – ability to simplify complex information and present trends and key performance indicators for decision makers.

- Previous business intelligence and data analysis experience.
- Automate repetitive daily/weekly tasks
- Setting up and maintaining Google Forms
- Experience in basic coding
- Proven ability to design, build, and maintain scalable spreadsheet-driven workflows using Google Apps Script / JavaScript, including automated email and data processes via Gmail API, Drive API, and other Google services, improving efficiency and reducing manual work
- Strong sense of accountability, taking ownership of work and delivering results to a high standard.
- Comfortable asking questions and engaging in open dialogue to drive better outcomes
- Advanced knowledge of Google Workspace ecosystem particularly Sheets/Excel plus Forms, Drive, Docs, Slides, Calendar
