You’ll be working on specialist assets within a professional workshop environment, with full support and training provided to help you develop your skills further.
Carrying out routine servicing, inspections, and repairs on HGVs for both internal and external customersPreparing vehicles for MOT, including inspection, rectification, and final presentationAttending breakdowns, diagnosing faults, and completing repairs to a high standardCompleting all compliance documentation in line with DVSA and company standardsMaintaining high standards of health, safety, and workmanship at all times What we’re looking for in the HGV Technician / Mechanic / Engineer
Proven xwzovoh experience as an HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV EngineerNVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent HGV qualificationExperience with repairs and wheel alignmentMunicipal or RCV/refuse vehicle experience is advantageous but not essentialStrong understanding of the HGV industry and safety practicesA team player who can also work confidently on their own initiative Interested
