Were now looking for an experienced Information Security Manager to join our Platform & Business Systems Team, and play a critical role in shaping and leading our information security capability across the business.This is a high-impact, customer-facing role where youll provide expert security, governance, risk and compliance advice to stakeholders and senior leadership, while helping us continuously strengthen our security posture.Youll join a forward-thinking organisation where information security is taken seriously and where youll have real influence over strategy, culture and outcomes. This is a fantastic opportunity to work at senior level, engage with customers, and help protect the data that underpins our services.What youll be doing Lead and shape Microlises information security strategy, ensuring it is embedded across the wider businessDefine, maintain and evolve corporate-level information security policies, standards and controlsOversee security architecture and engineering activities, ensuring security is built in by designLead and support risk assessments, audits and certification activities, including ISO 27001, driving corrective actions where requiredWork closely with the SOC on cyber security incidents and investigations, ensuring full compliance and effective remediationManage internal and customer requests for security information, including assurance responses and security questionnairesOversee third-party and supplier security risk through audits, reviews and ongoing compliance managementIdentify, escalate, mitigate and review information security risks, issues and opportunities for continual improvementRecommend and support the implementation of appropriate security tools, systems and processesPromote a strong security culture by defining awareness expectations, supporting training initiatives and ensuring policy complianceProvide clear, professional and timely communication to customers, partners and internal stakeholdersCarry out other duties reasonably required within the remit of the roleWhat were looking for Youll bring a blend of technical expertise, governance experience and strong stakeholder skills, including:CISM qualification (or equivalent)Strong knowledge of ISO 27001, ideally as a Lead Auditor or AuditorWorking knowledge of NIST CSF and NIST SP 800-53Excellent understanding of relevant legal, regulatory and compliance requirementsProven experience implementing and operating security management in line with legislation and standardsExperience conducting investigations, incident response and producing clear, high-quality reportsStrong background in risk management, including risk assessment and loggingExperience in process mapping and producing effective, user-friendly proceduresBroad understanding of information and cyber security technologiesExperience in cyber incident management and remediationKnowledge or experience of forensic investigationExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with senior stakeholdersA customer-focused mindset with a commitment to high-quality service deliveryWhy Microlise?
