Commercial Manager

We have an opportunity to join a well-known Construction Contractor based in Inverness as their Commercial Manager. You will be joining a company with an impressive history who have worked on a wide range of civils project for high profile clients. They continue to win contracts across the country and are looking for an individual with a strong commercial awareness who can drive and lead the commercial function.

Responsibilities:

• Lead commercial management of civils projects.
• Oversee cost planning, budgeting, forecasting and reporting.
• Manage valuations, applications for payment, variations and final accounts.
• Review contracts terms.
• Support pricing and tender activity.
• Monitors project performance and margins.
• Work closely with management teams.
• Produce clear reports for senior management.

Essential:

• Demonstrable experience working in a Commercial Management or Senior Quantity Surveyor role.
• Strong Civils background.
• Contract administration background.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Commercially astute.
• Ability to build relationships with clients and internal teams.
