Warehouse Operative – Brackley

Full-Time, Permanent

About the Role

Our client are looking for a reliable and proactive Warehouse Operative to support the smooth running of the warehouse. This is a hands-on role focused on accurate stock handling, efficient goods movement, and maintaining a safe working environment. A valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck (FLT) licence is required for this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle daily warehouse tasks including goods-in, goods-out, and internal stock movements.
  • Load and unload vehicles using a counterbalance forklift (FLT licence required).
  • Check, record, and store incoming deliveries accurately.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch.
  • Carry out regular stock checks and report any discrepancies.
  • Maintain safe, organised, and compliant working areas.
  • Assist with booking in stock and maintaining warehouse documentation.
  • Work closely with couriers, drivers, and suppliers to ensure efficient operations.
  • Operate warehouse equipment in line with safety procedures.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Experience working in a warehouse or logistics environment.
  • Valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence (essential).
  • Good organisation and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
  • Basic IT skills for stock systems and documentation.
  • Understanding of warehouse health & safety procedures.
