About the Role
Our client are looking for a reliable and proactive Warehouse Operative to support the smooth running of the warehouse. This is a hands-on role focused on accurate stock handling, efficient goods movement, and maintaining a safe working environment. A valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck (FLT) licence is required for this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle daily warehouse tasks including goods-in, goods-out, and internal stock movements.
- Load and unload vehicles using a counterbalance forklift (FLT licence required).
- Check, record, and store incoming deliveries accurately.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch.
- Carry out regular stock checks and report any discrepancies.
- Maintain safe, organised, and compliant working areas.
- Assist with booking in stock and maintaining warehouse documentation.
- Work closely with couriers, drivers, and suppliers to ensure efficient operations.
- Operate warehouse equipment in line with safety procedures.
Skills & Experience Required
- Experience working in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence (essential).
- Good organisation and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
- Basic IT skills for stock systems and documentation.
- Understanding of warehouse health & safety procedures.
