Role Summary
Fixed‑Term, Full‑Time role (until 31/05/2027), 37 hours per week, Salary £36,363‑£40,777 per annum in the Talent & Workforce Planning – People Services team of Lancashire County Council. This role is not eligible for international sponsorship.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and deliver tailored recruitment solutions for both niche and high‑volume roles.
- Lead creative attraction campaigns to reduce vacancies and reliance on agency staff.
- Proactively build and nurture talent pipelines aligned with future workforce needs and strategic planning.
- Drive continuous improvement projects to enhance the hiring process and candidate experience, helping position Lancashire County Council as an employer of choice.
- Communicate and engage with managers and candidates effectively, standing out through confidence and a drive to do things differently.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience in talent acquisition within a large or complex organisation.
- Innovative, solution‑focused mindset with fresh ideas to solve recruitment challenges.
- Data‑informed decision‑making skills, strong understanding of recruitment metrics and workforce planning.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, influencing decisions and offering guidance to managers at all organisational levels.
