The estimated base salary range for this role is $130,000 to $165,000 per year. Individual pay is based upon location, skills and expertise, experience and other relevant factors.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead the monthly demand planning process in alignment with Sales and Marketing
  • Develop and maintain statistical forecasts using historical data, market trends, and customer insights
  • Analyze forecast accuracy and drive continuous improvement to enhance reliability
  • Oversee distribution center operations, including 3rd party logistics and west coast DC performance
  • Manage inventory flow, transportation coordination, warehouse efficiency, and cost control
  • Lead and develop distribution teams through performance metrics, training, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensure customer requirements are met by achieving service metrics such as Perfect Order and Fill Rate targets
  • Partner with operations and cross‑functional teams to mitigate risks and resolve service disruptions
  • Manage extended lead time issues and proactively communicate across the organization
  • Translate demand forecasts into production and supply plans across multiple manufacturing sites
  • Balance supply and demand to optimize service levels, inventory turns, and production efficiency
  • Develop and communicate the Aggregate Production Plan aligned with business objectives
  • Monitor and manage finished goods and raw material inventory levels
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to stockouts, excess inventory, and capacity constraints
  • Collaborate with Procurement and Operations to ensure material availability and production readiness
  • Support the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process to align cross‑functional stakeholders
  • Develop KPIs and dashboards to track forecast accuracy, inventory health, and service performance
  • Use data analytics to identify trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities
  • Support digital transformation initiatives to enhance planning capabilities
  • Lead and supervise 1–2 direct reports

What Makes You Stand Out

  • APICS or similar supply chain certification
  • Strong experience with ERP systems such as SAP and advanced planning tools
  • Experience supporting multi‑site manufacturing or distribution networks
  • Proven ability to improve forecast accuracy, inventory turns, and service levels
  • Experience leading or supporting digital transformation or advanced analytics initiatives
  • Background in manufacturing or industrial operations
  • Demonstrated success in driving cross‑functional alignment through S&OP processes

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in:

  • Supply Chain
  • Business
  • Engineering
  • Or related field

5+ years of experience in:

  • Demand planning
  • Supply chain
  • Production planning
  • Experience in manufacturing or industrial operations preferred

Proficiency in:

  • ERP systems (e.g., SAP)
  • Planning tools and data analysis

Strong knowledge of:

  • S&OP processes
  • Forecasting methodologies
  • Inventory optimization

Willingness and ability to travel up to 20% to support distribution centers and manufacturing operations (including coordination with multi‑site and west coast distribution operations)
