Development Manager / Senior Manager

You’ll be responsible for originating and developing utility‑scale wind, solar and storage projects across key US markets—from site identification through to ready‑to‑build. Key Responsibilities
- Lead all phases of utility‑scale wind, solar and storage project development
- Identify and assess new sites, conduct early‑stage market analysis and due diligence
- Secure land agreements including lease and easement negotiations with landowners
- Support the interconnection process and coordinate key applications
- Navigate local, state, and federal permitting processes
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and development risks
- Oversee external consultants and collaborate with internal technical and commercial teams
- Engage with landowners, local officials, and community stakeholders to build strong relationships
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, environmental science, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in US renewable energy development, preferably some wind development experience
- Proven ability to lead development activities from greenfield through to NTP
- Excellent project management and negotiation skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement experience
- Proficient with GIS tools and the Microsoft Office Suite
- Comfortable working in a flexible, fast‑paced environment with evolving priorities
