Development Manager / Senior Manager

  • Location: Texas | Colorado | Virginia
  • Travel: Required up to 50%

You’ll be responsible for originating and developing utility‑scale wind, solar and storage projects across key US markets—from site identification through to ready‑to‑build. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all phases of utility‑scale wind, solar and storage project development
  • Identify and assess new sites, conduct early‑stage market analysis and due diligence
  • Secure land agreements including lease and easement negotiations with landowners
  • Support the interconnection process and coordinate key applications
  • Navigate local, state, and federal permitting processes
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, and development risks
  • Oversee external consultants and collaborate with internal technical and commercial teams
  • Engage with landowners, local officials, and community stakeholders to build strong relationships

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, environmental science, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in US renewable energy development, preferably some wind development experience
  • Proven ability to lead development activities from greenfield through to NTP
  • Excellent project management and negotiation skills
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement experience
  • Proficient with GIS tools and the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Comfortable working in a flexible, fast‑paced environment with evolving priorities
