Reporting to the Senior Procurement Manager, you will lead sourcing strategies for goods and services within your category, delivering strong commercial outcomes while effectively managing risk across complex, high-value contracts. You will play a pivotal role in shaping category strategies, driving continuous improvement, and supporting the organisation’s wider strategic goals.

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement robust sourcing plans, tenders, and negotiations in line with policy, governance, and agreed timelines, applying advanced technical negotiation expertise.
- Manage end-to-end tendering processes for large-scale and strategically critical contracts.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and align procurement activity with organisational strategy.
- Contribute to category strategies and collaborate across procurement teams to maximise value and insight.
- Maintain accurate contract records and produce commercial insights to support value delivery and risk mitigation.
- Act as a commercial escalation point, applying expert judgement to resolve complex contractual and commercial issues.
- Take ownership of your own development, support the development of others, and act as a role model for leadership behaviours and company values.
Qualifications
- A CIPS qualification or be actively working towards this.
- A proven track record of developing and implementing innovative sourcing strategies.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build buy‑in and achieve tangible outcomes.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously while meeting challenging deadlines.
- Practical experience of programme and change management.
- Excellent problem‑solving capability, including resolving contractual and commercial issues.
- Advanced negotiation expertise, with confidence operating at senior levels.
