Job Summary
The Marketing CRM Lead will own and scale the Group’s CRM and lifecycle marketing capability across Helix International Group’s specialist brands: Ark Workplace Risk, QUOODA and Firetecnics Systems. Operating within a Private Equity-backed, performance-driven environment, this role is critical to strengthening demand generation, improving lead nurture effectiveness, and increasing customer lifetime value across complex B2B sales cycles. Reporting to the Group Marketing Director, you will lead the development of a sophisticated, data‑led CRM strategy that enhances engagement across prospects and existing clients. You will build automated lifecycle programmes that support MQL to SQL conversion, client retention, cross‑sell opportunities and re‑activation of dormant accounts. This is a hands‑on leadership role requiring strong operational execution. You will work closely with Commercial, Product, Technical and Analytics teams to ensure CRM becomes a core growth engine across the Group.

What You’ll be Doing
CRM & Lifecycle Strategy Ownership
- Own and lead CRM delivery across email, marketing automation, nurture workflows and database communications.
- Develop a full‑funnel lifecycle roadmap covering lead acquisition, MQL nurture, SQL acceleration, client onboarding, retention and reactivation.
- Align CRM strategy with Group growth targets, commercial objectives collaborating closely with the Sales team.
Nurture & Customer Journey Design
- Design and execute personalised B2B customer journeys that support complex buying cycles and multiple decision‑makers.
- Build automated nurture sequences that progress prospects through the funnel and strengthen engagement at each stage.
- Develop targeted programmes for cross‑sell, upsell and account expansion across the Group’s service lines and software platforms.
Segmentation & Data Management
- Build and manage audience segmentation using behavioural and transactional data.
- Ensure robust CRM data standards, hygiene processes and automation workflows to maintain data integrity across 7,000+ contacts and 3,000+ organisations.
Performance & KPI Management
- Monitor and optimise lifecycle KPIs including MQL to SQL conversion, pipeline velocity, retention, churn and reactivation.
- Develop reporting dashboards that provide visibility on campaign performance, lead progression and ROI.
- Translate CRM data into insight‑led recommendations that support EBITDA contribution and commercial growth.
Testing & Optimisation
- Lead structured A/B testing of messaging, content, timing and workflow logic.
- Continuously optimise nurture performance to improve engagement, reduce drop‑off and increase qualified demand.
- Introduce scalable automation and AI‑enabled tools to enhance efficiency and targeting precision.
Compliance & Governance
- Ensure GDPR compliance and best practice in all customer communications, including consent management and data processing standards.
- Maintain clear governance around CRM usage across all Group brands.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Support Sales with CRM‑driven insights, account intelligence and targeted communications that accelerate conversion.
- Provide clear, commercially focused performance reporting to senior stakeholders.
Requirements
Experience
- Significant experience in CRM, lifecycle or retention marketing within a B2B environment.
- Experience working within professional services, compliance, technology or built‑environment sectors preferred.
- Proven track record of building and executing end‑to‑end CRM strategies that deliver measurable commercial outcomes.
- Strong hands‑on experience with CRM and automation platforms such as HubSpot or similar.
- Experience managing complex databases and long B2B sales cycles.
