Key Responsibilities

  • To work within the procedures as laid down in the companies Quality Management System
  • Producing cable looms and wiring harness
  • Assembly of electrical and mechanical sub‑assemblies into finished systems
  • Assembling complete full medical and Life science machines prior to inspection
  • Conduction extensive testing on printed circuit boards prior to assembly.
  • Conducting factory acceptance testing of all medical and life science systems, including identification, reporting and rectification of defects
  • Installing PLC based software into research control cabinets
  • Working to company drawings, schematics and work instructions
  • Maintaining accurate production and test records in accordance with the quality system requirements within the medical industry

Person Specification

Skills And Abilities

  • At least 2 years’ experience of electronics/electrical and/or mechanical assembly
  • Experience of soldering and using crimp tools
  • Use of test equipment e.g. Multimeter and Oscilloscope to identify and correct defects
  • Ability to fault find and be solution driven
  • Experience of assembling mechanical sub‑assemblies from manufacturing drawings
