About the role of Managing Quantity Surveyor
As Managing Quantity Surveyor, you will be overseeing 3 – 4 residential schemes with valuations of 130 million, 20 million, 25 million, and 30 million. The company are a well-established UK construction and housing partner that predominately focus on residential developments and regeneration projects. They have a very strong financial and industry position with lots of financial backing, resources, and organisational strength.
Key Responsibilities of Managing Quantity Surveyor:
Include but not limited to;
- Attend regular team meetings
- Provide advice to the team on resolving contractual disputes and legal matters in a timely manner
- Ensure high standards of cash flow forecasting
- Review project cash flows with team and present to Commercial Director
- Maintain positive and successful client relationships
- Managing full upstream process
- Provide assistance and support on all commercial issue
- Final Accounting
Key Requirements of Managing Quantity Surveyor:
- Live within commutable distance to Cardiff
- Residential/contracting background
- Experience with JCT contracts
- Experience leading projects
