We are hiring a Sales and Reservations Executive to manage the reservations for 2 of our venues!
What you’ll be doing:
Enquiries
- Efficiently respond to reservation enquiries via telephone and email
- Manage all group telephone calls politely and efficiently, ensuring the caller’s needs are accurately met
- Handle booking cancellations and reconfirmations
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the guest experience
- Follow proper procedure for confirming bookings, including deposits, card details, pre‑orders of food and drink, and issuing terms and conditions
- Provide accurate information about venue products (menus, packages, terms, and conditions) to guide guests to suitable packages and upsell at all points
- Use knowledge of products, events, and dietary needs to deliver a great guest experience from enquiry onward
- Support the Sales & Reservations Manager with proactive sales initiatives
- Call potential guests from warm leads on the website, using insight to generate more sales
- Take and process orders accurately
- Manage call backs and potential sales
- Identify and communicate large booking leads to the Group Sales & Reservations Manager
- Promote venue facilities, motivate the team, and maximize selling opportunities by adding guest value at every opportunity
- Conduct local business outreach programs to invite local businesses into the venues
- Maximize pre‑booked sales through proactive methods and conversion of incoming enquiries
- Partner with other departments to create an exceptional guest experience and solid sales programs
- Build and nurture relationships with local clients and guests to maintain a strong repeat business base
- Implement cross‑selling to maximize group sales opportunities
- Aim to achieve all inbound and outbound sales targets
Communication
- Resolve guest issues quickly and decisively
- Collaborate with General Managers, on‑site management teams, and Head Chefs to maintain a full understanding of venue requirements
What’ll make you a great fit:
- Previous experience with restaurant booking platforms such as Design My Night & Open Table
- Experience working in hospitality, handling large pre‑orders and private diners
- Outstanding attention to detail
- Excellent leadership skills and the ability to motivate others
- Strong financial awareness and commercial acumen
- Great enthusiasm with a can‑do attitude
