The Coleshill School is seeking a highly organised and proactive School Operations Manager to join our leadership team. This pivotal role ensures the smooth running of the school’s daily operations, supporting both the strategic and operational needs of our school community.

Responsibilities

  • Administration & Compliance: Oversee administrative functions, ensure regulatory compliance, and support effective school governance.
  • Site & Premises Management: Manage facilities, maintenance, and health and safety standards.
  • Human Resources: Support HR processes including recruitment, staff wellbeing, and record keeping.
  • Finance & Budgeting: Coordinate departmental finances and monitor expenditure.
  • Project Coordination: Lead and manage school projects to ensure timely and successful delivery.
  • Executive Support: Provide PA support to the Headteacher and leadership group as required.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in school operations or a similar administrative leadership role.
  • Strong organisational and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to prioritise competing demands.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with staff, pupils and external partners.
  • Knowledge of HR, finance and health and safety practices within an educational setting.
  • A proactive approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
