Bondaval is at an exciting inflection point.A landmark global insurance partnership, a growing international client baseand an expanding productsuitemean the operational backbone of the business has never been more important.
We are looking for anOperationsManagerto own and drive the day-to-day operational engine that keeps our deal flow moving, our compliance obligations met, and our business running smoothly.This is a broad, cross-functional role for someonewhois comfortable being hands-on and executing, whilsthaving the ability tofullyown and scaleend-to-end operations at a high-growthglobalinsurtech.
You willworkclosely with senior stakeholders across the business,taking direct ownership oftwocore pillars: Commercial Operations (onboarding new clients, renewals)andBusiness Operations (compliance oversight, licensing and general operations).The role has a globalremit— you will work with and support teams across the UK, US,DACHand Canada, and will be expected to develop a strong understanding of regulatory requirements,processesand stakeholders acrossall ofour operatingjurisdictions.

Responsibilities:
Commercial Operations
Deal flow
- Ownend-to-endoperational executionrelated to all deals, includingcompleting the necessaryregulatory, ESG, KYC and CDD checks, audittrailsandunderwritingplatform integrity
- Proactivelyidentifyand lead process improvements across the deal lifecycle, raising the bar on efficiency,auditabilityand scalability,leveragingthe Bondaval platform,technologyandAI where appropriate
- Support Commercial, Underwriting and Legal teams with operational tasksand questionsacrossjurisdictions
Deal renewals
- Track and manage the renewals pipeline, coordinating approvals,documentationand compliance checks across internal stakeholders
Claims
- Coordinate with Legal, Finance and Underwriting onall regulatory and contractual claims obligations
- Monitor recovery progress across the portfolio, liaising with external agencies and partners asrequired
Business Operations
General operations
- ManageBAU operational items, such asbusiness insurances, visa sponsorshiplicenceand office contracts across all locations
- Own and manage relationships with multiple external vendors and third-party service providers, ensuring performance and value across the portfolio
- Drive improvementsto increase efficiency,transparencyand knowledge-transfer across the business, in particular relating toglobal operationsand compliance
Regulations and compliance
- Work closely with Legal and Compliance tomaintainoversight of global regulatory requirements across all operatingjurisdictions,ensuring the businessremainscompliant as it grows
- Maintain global policies,proceduresand registries; oversee mandatory training compliance
- Manage global regulatory licences, including maintenance,renewalsand newapplications
- Lead reporting and audit support, acting as a key point of contact for regulators and external auditors whererequired
You might be a good fit if you have:
- 5+ yearsin an operationalrole withininsurance,creditor arelatedregulated fintech environment
- Familiaritywithtrade credit insurance,MGAs,delegated authority orB2Binsurance operations
- Hands-on experience with compliance workflows, such asKYC, CDD, ESG, regulatory filings
- Experienceoperatingacross multiplejurisdictionsand navigating international regulatory frameworks
- A track recordofintroducingand/orimprovingoperational processes — not just inheriting andmaintainingthem
- Proven ability towork effectively withexternal vendors andadvisors
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work fluidly acrossdifferent teamsandconfidence to influence senior stakeholders
- High attention to detail and comfort working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment withcompetingdeadlines
- A low-ego, collaborative working style —willingness toget things done without needing to own the spotlight
- Comfortable embracingnew technologyand ways of working — you see tools, automation and AI as enablers and actively seek out better ways of doing things
