Our Kiddi Caru Day Nursery in Abington Park, is looking for a caring and enthusiastic Room Based Deputy Manager to join our team. You will play a key role in caring for, supporting and inspiring our children, encouraging curiosity and helping them thrive every day.

Our beautifully renovated townhouse welcomes families with a bright, inviting staircase leading to the heart of the nursery. Spread across two floors, our nursery features six bright, calm rooms and spacious gardens, creating the perfect indoor and outdoor environment for your child to grow and flourish every day.

What will you be doing

  • Assist the Nursery Manager with the effective day-to-day management of the nursery.
  • Ensure that all children attending the nursery receive rich and stimulating experiences appropriate to their age and stage of development.
  • Develop open and positive working relationships with staff.
  • Support, supervise, train, and appraise all staff to ensure delivery of high-quality childcare practice.
  • Support the Nursery Manager to identify training needs; develop training plans and evaluate training undertaken by staff.
  • Assist the Nursery Manager in delivering an agreed occupancy target.
  • Maintain effective methods of communication with children, staff, parents, and carers.
  • Assist the Nursery Manager in ensuring that all complaints and concerns are actively resolved in a timely manner and that these are reported to the Regional Manager.
