Responsible for achieving availability targets for Princes products at Tesco within working capital targets as defined in agreement with the retailer.Responsible for customer service delivery for the Tesco account. The job holder will monitor all aspects of supply performance from demand planning, order capture, to delivery and successful execution of events to ensure that service is delivered at the agreed level and cost.To provide the business with a rolling 24‑month demand plan based on sales forecasts, historical trends, seasonality and promotional / event overlays.To enable delivery of customer service targets within agreed inventory targets.Understand in detail the customers’ internal supply chain systems and processes and understand the customers’ web‑based systems to use them to drive supply chain performance to the benefit of both Princes and the customer.Ensure system parameters are maintained as per commercial agreements with regard to load fill, lead time, delivery day, order multiples & MLOR.Management of the Customer Planning Manager.

Principal Responsibilities
- Work with the retailer supply team managing supply of Princes products.
- Requirement for some travel / retailer head office based (dependent on agreement with customer).
- Responsible for managing the Customer Planning Manager.
- Liaise and consult with the retailer’s commercial team, marketing team, supply team, distribution team and store teams to plan and manage the availability of Princes supplied product for on‑going demand and promotional demand.
- Influencing critical decisions pertaining to Princes availability.
- Identifying improvements to process and establishing better ways of working by influencing and changing behaviours.
- Manage product launches and promotional activities within the customer systems and ensure and influence adherence to plan.
- Manage the end‑to‑end supply chain through to store across all SKUs.
- Manage product introduction, post‑production and manage product de‑list.
- Work within the retailer’s supply chain inventory management systems to manage availability on shelf, depot stocks and replenishment.
- Manage demand placed on Princes, negotiating any conflicting volumes with the commercial and supply teams and influencing a positive outcome.
- Review, amend and manage the retailer’s forecast for depot and store in line with Princes.
- Facilitator and lead of the Collaborative Meetings ensuring adherence to the agreed schedule and full attendance from Supply and Commercial.
- Minimise wastage through better use of available data to plan stock levels and manage full load replenishments.
- Achieving the demand numbers across a 3‑month horizon.
- Generating a robust demand signal for the next 12 months which drives the financial business projection.
- To monitor sales performance against forecast and take corrective actions to deliver forecast accuracy targets.
- To ensure promotional forecasts are challenged & verified utilising historical analysis and current / future market intelligence.
- To ensure monthly internal reviews with Account Managers take place to agree the forward plan – focusing on forecast accuracy, promotions, changes in distribution, new listings & discontinuations.
- To report on weekly / monthly accuracy KPIs and variances to target.
- Reporting variances in the demand forecasts.
- Support the budgeting process and make sure all deadlines are met.
Role Requirements

- User of Customer base Supply Chain systems
- Experienced people manager.
- Excellent understanding of statistics, statistical methods and accuracy measurements.
- Understanding of formal stock planning processes from forecast creation through to requirements planning.
- Understanding of sales and marketing promotion planning processes.
- Understanding of the seasonality of planning and its impact on our products.
- Understanding of customer service order fulfilment processes.
- Understanding of customer event planning processes and customer logistics.
- Excellent data analysis and presentation skills.
