£30,000 – £46,000 base + up to £12,000 commission

Hours: 37.5 per week, Monday-Friday, 8:30am to 6:00pm (e.g., 8:30am‑5pm, 9am‑5:30pm, 9:30am‑6pm)

About the Role
Hawk 3 Talent Solutions are seeking a driven Business Development Executive with proven telesales/cold‑calling experience and a true hunter attitude to join a growing team in York, North Yorkshire. You will generate new business through proactive outbound activity and secure well‑qualified appointments for the sales team. This role is predominantly focused on new business lead generation, identifying fresh opportunities, and driving revenue growth through persistent prospecting.
What You’ll Be Doing
New Business Development
- Proactively generate new business via cold calling and outbound sales activity.
- Identify new customer and market opportunities using provided data and your own initiative.
- Follow up on marketing activity, mailshots and campaigns to create interest and book qualified appointments.
Account Management
- Once established, manage relationships with both new and existing customers to develop revenue opportunities.
- Maintain strong competitor awareness and keep customers updated on the full service portfolio.
Sales Administration
- Produce quotes and supporting sales documents within agreed timescales.
- Update CRM systems accurately and manage your administration time effectively to maximise calling time.
Customer Service
- Provide support for inbound sales calls, customer queries, and technical enquiries where appropriate.
Hybrid Working
Office: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday – York officeHome: Monday & Friday

Salary & Commission
Base salary: £30,000 – £34,000Commission: Up to £12,000 per year (performance‑based)
