About The Role
As a Fleet Administrator you will coordinate vehicle management for a company with up to 80 vehicles, ensuring compliance, efficiency and safety across all activities.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Management of up to 80 vehicles, including booking services and MOTs
- Assess vehicle damage/issues and determine appropriate repair requirements
- Maintain the Vehicle Management system at all times
- Work closely with engineers and planners on compliance and enforcement of quality, environmental, safety and health standards (H&S led by the Compliance Manager; you may assist with write‑ups)
- Monitor all vehicle trackers and export data to Excel for each department
- liaise with Managers and Operatives to ensure employees have transport at all times
- Handle telephone enquiries
- Provide support to Admin teams as required
- Uphold Data Protection Policies
- Address ad‑hoc tasks as required
- Adhere to all health & safety regulations and company policy at all times
- Report any accidents or health & safety issues appropriately
- Ensure all risk assessments and safe systems of work are read, understood, signed and followed
- Observe & follow all manual handling practices
Qualifications and Experience
- Grade C or above in English and Maths at GCSE Level (Higher and Further education desirable)
- Computer literate with knowledge of Word and Excel
- Experience with a data input system desirable (e.g. Housing Maintenance Software)
- Administration qualification or demonstrable 2‑year experience required
- Excellent demonstrable customer service skills
- Experience dealing with the general public in a professional manner
- Demonstrable experience working within a performance‑driven environment to tight deadlines ensuring KPIs are delivered

Additional Information
In addition, the role may require the successful candidate to undertake work‑specific training on‑the‑job or externally. The majority of the work will be conducted in the public sector or housing associations; a recent Access NI certificate is required. We perform an Access NI check as part of the onboarding process.
