The Mission

I am currently mapping the rarest profile in the 2026 power market: the “Centaur” Analyst. My client, a global leader in high-velocity energy intelligence, is expanding their European Power vertical. They aren’t looking for a back-office data cleaner. They need a Hybrid—someone who can architect complex logic in Python/SQL but has the commercial gravitas to deliver a “Market Pulse” directly to C-suite stakeholders and top-tier traders.

You will own the roadmap for a major Power Insight offering, specifically focusing on the Polish BESS mix and French volatility analytics.

The Day-to-Day

• Model the Future: Use Python and SQL to transform unstructured power data into proprietary models (LT demand, battery deployment, etc.).
• Command the Narrative: Translate technical volatility trends into concise, engaging market reports and live client presentations.
• Product Ownership: You aren’t just “feeding a desk.” You are helping scope and develop a world-class intelligence product.
• Strategic Impact: Act as the technical authority for sophisticated prospects during the pre- and post-sales process.

The Profile

• 2–5 Years in European Power: You understand the grid and what drives intraday volatility.
• Technical Edge: You are dangerous with Python and SQL. If a process is manual, you’ve already automated it.
• Communication: You can explain a complex “Bear Cocktail” scenario to a CEO in three sentences without losing the technical nuance.
• The “Frustrated” High-Performer: You are tired of “success penalties” at legacy firms and want a platform where your insights drive the product, not just a spreadsheet.
