Business Development Manager
£33,000 salary plus uncapped commission (Realistic OTE £60,000 +)

Our client is a highly successful media brand who are very well known throughout the North East region. The team is led by a two fantastic Directors, who require a talented Business Development to drive growth, and who will support and encourage you to achieve your full potential if you have fire in the belly and the desire to succeed.

The Role
Your objective will be to sell advertising space in their publications and magazines, along with selling sponsorship opportunities for awards events, and selling stands available at business expos.
The market is huge, and the opportunities are endless for a salesperson with the appetite and ability to self-generate opportunities.
What are we looking for?
First and foremost, we need to see fire in the belly and genuine excitement at the opportunity. In addition, we will be looking for:
- The ability to demonstrate that you have a robust B2B sales process that robustly qualifies prospects and builds value propositions
- Honesty, ethics and great personal values
- A proven track record in generating business and delivering against objectives
- Strong hunting and relationship-building skills to find and win new business opportunities
- Your vision of personal success and a life goal that motivates you every day
- A can‑do mindset and a great sense of humour
- The ability to plan, so that prospecting activities are not scattergun
