Our Fire Remediation Team plays a critical part in this mission, ensuring we meet the requirements of the Building Safety Act 2022 and that our buildings remain safe, compliant, and future‑proof. We’re now looking for a Fire Remediation Manager (Major Works) to join us and lead the delivery of some of our most important building safety projects. As our Fire Remediation Manager, you’ll take the lead on a portfolio of major cladding and fire safety remediation schemes, managing projects from investigation and design through to tendering, on‑site delivery, handover, and final account. You’ll play a key role in ensuring our residents’ safety, working closely with internal colleagues, technical experts, contractors, and external authorities. You’ll bring professionalism, clarity, and confidence to complex projects, keeping everything moving and everyone informed. Leading the delivery of major remediation projects, ensuring compliance with the Building Safety Act 2022. Managing the full end‑to‑end process: investigation, design development, planning and building control, contractor procurement, site delivery, and completion. Monitoring quality of workmanship, progress against programme, and contractor performance. Managing risks, budgets, and commercial considerations throughout each scheme. Building strong relationships from colleagues and contractors to residents and external stakeholders. Maintaining the golden thread of information and ensuring high‑quality documentation and reporting. Championing a culture of high performance, continuous improvement, and resident‑focused service. You’ll be someone who takes ownership, stays calm under pressure, and thrives on seeing complex projects through to completion. Proven experience managing development, refurbishment, or fire remediation schemes. Strong project management skills, with the ability to juggle budgets, timescales, quality, and risk. Solid understanding of legal, commercial, and regulatory requirements. Relevant fire safety qualification (e.g., IFE, IFSM, CIOB Level 6) and HNC or above in a related field. Our office day is the second Tuesday of each month at our Waterloo office, of course, much of your time will be spent on site actively managing projects and ensuring safe, high‑quality delivery.
