Sales Assistant – Luxury RetailYork Full-Time | Part-Time | Weekend-Only Positions Available Pertemps are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established luxury retail business in York for experienced Sales Assistants to join their team. We have full-time, part-time (15–30 hours), and weekend-only roles available, including weekend rota where applicable. Key Responsibilities Sales & Customer ServiceDeliver outstanding face-to-face customer service in a luxury retail settingProactively approach and engage customers, including window shoppersDrive sales through product recommendations, upselling, and add-on salesConfidently close sales and contribute to achieving monthly sales targetsHandle customer enquiries, orders, repairs, and returns professionallyProcess transactions accurately using till and POS systemsCapture customer details to support repeat businessStore OperationsMaintain high visual merchandising and presentation standardsSupport opening and closing proceduresAssist with stock control and replenishmentAnswer telephone enquiries promptlyComplete daily administrative dutiesTeam & ComplianceWork collaboratively to achieve team sales targetsFollow company procedures and health & safety guidelinesRequirementsMinimum 2 years’ retail sales experience (essential)Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targetsStrong communication skills (verbal, written, and digital)Computer and till system literateCustomer-focused with a proactive, confident sales approachReliable team player with a positive attitudeJewellery experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
