An exciting opportunity exists for a Procurement Business Partner – RLH within the Procurement Department to manage the non-pay and strategic sourcing of hospital/category commercial activity.

Responsibilities
- Provide high‑quality information, analysis and professional and commercial support to Procurement service customers, directly influencing strategic and business decision making.
- Act as the senior, dedicated point of procurement contact for a specific site, driving productive collaboration between site stakeholders and the Procurement function to manage non‑pay activity across the Trust.
- Resolve supplier issues at site swiftly to prevent disruption to patient care.
- Lead a category‑focused sourcing team to generate cost efficiencies for the Trust and implement the Procurement Strategy across all sites.
- Implement innovative supplier solutions that achieve significant and sustainable cost improvements while maintaining high‑quality care for patients and service users.
- Provide guidance for key stakeholders and enable prioritised change through process improvements, product and equipment standardisation designed to drive cost down and improve service standards and outcomes.
- Interpret and convey complex information to a range of staff, including formal presentations, leading meetings and one‑to‑one discussions on briefing, negotiating and problem‑solving.
