I am recruiting for an experienced and strategic Social Account Director to lead and evolve the agency’s social offering. This is a senior role focused on strategy, client leadership, and capability building rather than hands‑on execution.
The Role:
You will take ownership of the overall social proposition, working closely with internal biddable teams who handle execution. Your focus will be on elevating client relationships, driving account growth, and building internal excellence across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Leadership
- Act as the senior strategic lead and expert face of Social in key client meetings
- Strengthen client relationships and enhance the overall perception of our social offering
- Create clear, prioritised account development roadmaps
- Support onboarding of new clients with a structured and strategic approach
Strategy & Proposition Development
- Lead the evolution of a compelling full‑funnel Social proposition, including:
- Measurement frameworks (leveraging in‑house data, A/B testing, and MMM capabilities)
- Creative strategy (working with in‑house production, including video and creative tools)
- Identify opportunities to innovate and differentiate in the social space
- Support new business pitches and PR initiatives
Internal Enablement & Training
- Deliver ongoing training and development for both junior and senior staff
- Act as a key internal advisor on Social strategy and best practice
- Support wider business education to raise overall social capability
About You:
- Proven experience in a senior Social or Paid Social role (agency experience preferred)
- Strong strategic mindset with the ability to see the bigger picture
- Excellent client‑facing and stakeholder management skills
- Passion for developing people and improving team capability
- Deep understanding of full‑funnel social strategy, measurement, and creative best practice
